Hypnotherapy - the Spiritual Aspect

The International Holistic Life Coaching Association early members were the pioneers of Hypnotherapy and Holistic Life Coaching in South Africa.

The International Holistic Life Coaching Association was formed in 2002 by . Mervyn & Dr. Trudie Bartholomew under the name of Translife Centre, and recently evolved into the Hypnotherapy and Ethno Psychology Association of South Africa.

HEPASA was created specifically to support its members by supplying opportunities for exchanges of information, peer group supervision and lectures.

Over the years the Hypnotherapy and Ethno Psychology Association (HEPASA) has gained wide recognition for the expertise and ethical standards it has maintained in the field of Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Ethno Psychology . The Association has set a high standard of proficiency and only skilled therapists of high integrity, using approved techniques, are accepted as members.

Its aim as an Association is to provide continuing empirical leadership in the field of Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Ethnopsychology Studies and accreditation to practicing Practitioners.

The Association is an inaugural member, aligned under EPASA (The Ethnomedicine Practitioners Association of South Africa) /SAEPB (South African Ethnomedicine Professions Board) a National Peak body that represents the interests of the large number of Ethnomedicine and Ethnopsychology Practitioners working throughout South Africa (under the Traditional Healers Act).. Members will be provisionally registered with EPASA and Traditional Healers Organization, enabling students to obtain a Registration Number.

All applications will be submitted to EPASA Accreditation Committee.

HEPASA is a Section 21 (Non-Profit Organization), the only Association Registered with EPASA / SAEPB for regulating and controlling all modalities under Ethnopsychology, including Ethics and Scope of Practice.
